Krysten Ritter will executive produce a half-hour scripted comedy pilot, ordered by Pop.
Ritter will be executive producing The Demons of Dorian Gunn alongside Jax Media’s Tony Hernadez and Lilly Burns.
The Demons of Dorian Gunn is penned by Evan Greenspoon and Brandon Scott Jones. The half-hour comedy follows disgraced New York socialite, Dorian Gunn, who is a descendent of demon hunters. He is forced eave his life of privilege behind to protect humanity from demons who emerge from the gates of hell.
“I am so thrilled for the opportunity to make The Demons of Dorian Gunn with the incredible creative team at Pop,” Ritter said. “Brandon and Evan are talented new voices who have impressed me endlessly through every step of development, and I am so excited to bring their fresh and funny script to life.”
Ritter will be involved via her production company Silent Machine. Mike Poisson and Peggy Cheng from Silent Machine will also be co-executive producing.
The pilot will go into production in January.
