Fan Favorites Highlight December Video Game Releases
Just in time for the holidays several high profile releases are hitting video game store shelves.
Big name franchises like Doom, Resident Evil, Destiny and Final Fantasy all have new versions, VR and updates available in December.
Dec. 1
Doom VFR – PlayStation 4: Based on the latest franchise reboot, this version can be played on PlayStation 4 with DualShock 4 or Move controllers. There will also be a PlayStation 4 VR bundle available.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – Nintendo Switch: The game is set in a world “where the last remnants of civilization live on the backs of colossal beasts called Titans.” This sequel to the 2010 game has a new combat system that players will have to adjust.
Dec. 5
Dead Rising 4: Frank’s Big Package – PlayStation 4: This version has all the dowloadable and bonus content of Dead Rising 4. It also includes the new Capcom Heroes mode where “Frank assumes the powers and abilities of Dante from Devil May Cry, Cammy from Street Fighter, X from Mega Man” and others including Classic Frank, Zombie Frank and Adam the Clown.

Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris – PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox One: The new campaign “focuses on a legendary Warlock named Osiris and the Guardians’ quest to stop the Vex threat on Mercury, as well as the planet itself and its Infinite Forest.”
The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection – PlayStation 4, Xbox One: Includes all seasons and anthologies in the series.

Fallout 4 VR – Windows PC
Okami HD – PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox One: Remaster “supports 4K resolution on PlayStation 4 Pro, Windows PC and Xbox One X. Players will have the option of widescreen 16:9 or original 4:3 aspect ratio.”
Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds – Xbox One: “We’re approaching development on Xbox One with the same community-driven focus that we’ve taken with the game on PC,” Chang Han Kim, CEO of PUBG Corp., said in a post on the Xbox website. “As a result, the ultimate battle royale experience that fans play on Xbox One will be slightly different than what players know today on PC.”
Resident Evil 7: End of Zoe and Not a Hero – PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox One: Not a Hero stars Chris Redfield and is available for free. End of Zoe is part of Resident Evil 7’s season pass and costs $14.99.

Final Fantasy 15: Episode Ignis – PlayStation 4, Xbox One

Star Wars Battlefront II: The Last Jedi Season – PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox One: On Dec. 5 as part of the lead up to the new movie’s release, players can choose to side with the First Order or Resistance. Then on Dec. 13 Finn and Captain Phasma will be available to buy with in-game credits.
