Wilson Bethel Cast in ‘Daredevil’ Season 3
Wilson Bethel (Hart of Dixie) has been cast as a series regular in Daredevil Season 3.
Character details are still under wraps, however, there was a casting call for an FBI agent who is set to play a critical role between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk. The casting call was unearthed by The Hashtag Show.
28-35, 5’9-6’1, Open ethnicity. An athletic but socially awkward FBI Agent, needs structure and rules to suppress the darkness inside himself. Athletic with medium build, responsible and resourceful, hair trigger temper.
The description of the FBI role has lead some to believe that the character is Stanley Carter, a.k.a Sin-Eater. The Marvel character is New York City based and usually appears in Spider-Man and Ghost Rider stories. Carter is a former SHIELD agent, and NYPDY cop. Without spoiling the potential story arch, the character eventually becomes a vigilante, and an antagonist for Daredevil.
As we saw in Season 2, Daredevil doesn’t take kindly to the idea of other vigilantes on his turf, especially when they don’t adhere to his strict moral code. If Bethel is playing Sin-Eater it could be a career defining role.
Bethel is best known for playing Wade Kinsella in CW’s Hart of Dixie.
Daredevil season 3 is currently shooting and is intended to be released in 2018.
