‘Justice League’ Nears $500 Million at Worldwide Box Office

Despite all the hand wringing over the state of Justice League’s box office, the film has made over $480 million at the worldwide box office.

Domestically the movie finished the long holiday weekend in second place to Disney/Pixar’s Coco. The animated film pulled in $71 million over five days. It was followed by the comic book blockbuster with $59.6 million.

Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher and Ezra Miller as Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash as they team up to take on a worldwide threat.

With a global total of $482 million, Justice League is the lowest ranked film in the DCEU and is a little less than $200 million behind Man of Steel, so that will probably be where it stays.

Justice League is currently playing in theaters. Next up for the DCEU is Aquaman December 21, 2018. Momoa will return for the solo story and be joined by Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson and Nicole Kidman.
