‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Concept Art Shows Thor’s Early Battle Armor Design
Thor: Ragnarok has been out for about a month now and it’s still doing fairly well in the box office. One thing that instantly stood out to me was the visuals for the film. Ragnarok was a beautiful cinematic event to experience & the costumes were on point for the film. Check out the image below!
Day 7 of #ThorRagnarok art drop, and it's the Asgardian himself, Thor, played by the incredible @chrishemsworth . This is an early pass on what his new Sakaaran armor could've been. I imagined Thor would've grabbed different parts of armor, and somehow made it look fashionable~ pic.twitter.com/0nIFdyPhMT

Artist Karla Ortiz (who has worked with Marvel and on Thor: Ragnarok) recently posted some concept art on one of the early designs for Thor’s battle armor and it’s very interesting. The helmet looks about the same but the rest of the armor looks a little more futuristic than the armor they went with and doesn’t quite match Thor’s original color scheme like the one we saw in the movie. Also, peep that blaster on his left arm. While I’m not completely sold on the look, it would have been very fun to see him use the blaster in the Hulk battle scene.
Let me know what you think and be sure to check out Thor: Ragnarok in theaters now!
