BTS Becomes First Kpop Group to Take the #1 Spot on Itunes Chart with ‘MIC Drop Remix’

Haters are really about to hate as the boys of BTS have done it yet again. It hasn’t even been a full 12 hours since the release of the group’s highly anticipated remix of their song ‘MIC Drop’, and they’ve already broken another record: Leading the Itunes Chart at #1, making them the first Kpop group to ever do so. The remix is a collaboration between the group, Desiigner, and Steve Aoki as a gift to fans for their endless support. Everyone involved has been hyping up the collab nonstop and now that it’s out, it’s clear as to why. The MV currently sits at over eight million views and is still climbing.

In addition to the remix, they also released the short  Japanese version of ‘MIC Drop’ ahead of their Japanese album which is expected to be released on December 6th.

BTS was also recently signed to Sony’s Red Distribution label and they have expected upcoming appearances on The Ellen Show on Nov. 27th and a prerecorded mini-concert for Jimmy Kimmel Live! which will air on Nov. 29th.
