We know her as the woman who gave her voice to Mulan while we were growing up, as Melinda May on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.IE.L.D. and now, Ming-Na Wen has voiced her interest on taking the iconic character from DC Comics.
At Heroes & Villains Fan Fest Atlanta, she was asked which character from DC Comics she would like to play,.
“Catwoman? Yeah, I could be Catwoman. I would make an awesome Catwoman,” she said following an applause from the crowd, finishing with her take on the iconic “meow.”
As of recently, Warner has announced a Gotham City Sirens film, directed by David Ayer, that will most likely introduce Poison Ivy and Catwoman to the DCEU, as they’ll team up with Harley Quinn in a “crazy mission”.
Actresses that have been rumoured to take on the role are Baby Driver‘s Eiza González, The Girl on the Train’s Haley Bennett and Game of Thrones’ Lena Headey. But no word from Warner as of castings just yet.

Gotham City Sirens has no release date just yet, but Ming Na Wen will return with Agents of S.H.IE.L.D season 5, this December 1st.
