DC Streaming Service Will Launch An Animated Series About Harley Quinn

Not only will she be getting her own spin-off movie and be part of the ensemble for Gotham City Sirens, but now she’ll also have her own animated TV series, premiering in the upcoming streaming service of Warner Bros./DC Comics.

According to Deadline, Powerless executive producers Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey will be in charge of this 26 episodes, half-hour adult animated project as well, serving not only as executive producers but as writers as well.

The name most associated with the character now, Margot Robbie, is Warner Bros.’ first option in their list of actresses to voice the title character, and, reportedly, she will soon be approached for the gig.
