‘Black Lightning’ Will Premiere On January 16th On The CW

Black Lighting is the newest superhero show in The CW and will follow the story of Jefferson Pierce (Cress Williams), a retired superhero with electricity powers, that after nine years of having hanged up his costume, he needs to suit back up after his daughters -Anissa (Nafessa Williams) and Jennifer (China Anne McClain)- and his community are threatened by Tobias Whale’s (Marvin “Krondon” Jones III).

After months of wondering when this show will premiere, the CW has finally announced the exact time and hour when Black Lighting will be appearing in our televisions, alongside with the schedule of the rest of its current shows return with new episodes after the holiday break.

Note: the premiere date for Lucy Hale’s Life Sentence and the season premiere dates for iZombie, The Originals, and The 100 do not appear on this schedule, but the network has they’ll be announced soon.
