‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Features Big Wonder Woman Easter Egg

With Justice League set to hit theaters any day now, DC has dropped a few references in its Arrowverse TV shows.

First Oliver Queen mentioned Bruce Wayne while defending himself against accusations that he’s the Green Arrow.

Now, the time-traveling Waverider Crew on Legends of Tomorrow have visited Themyscira, home of Wonder Woman.

On the latest episode Helen Hunt, the team had to retrieve Helen of Troy from 1930s Hollywood and return her to the proper time. Of course, Helen doesn’t want to go back to a time where women have no voice and are treated with no respect.

New Legend Zari finds a loophole in history, discovering that Helen went missing during the war. So, instead she takes Helen to an island of warrior women where no boys are allowed.

As if fans didn’t already know where they were, the on-screen caption reveals it’s Themyscira 1253 B.C. This version of the island is basically a copy of the one seen in Wonder Woman, meaning producers probably just used the same footage.

The real question is are all these references just fun marketing easter eggs or could we see any of these heroes turning up in the Arrowverse?

Legends of Tomorrow airs Tuesdays at 9 pm on The CW.
