Release Date for ‘Wonder Woman 2’ Pushed Up to November
Wonder Woman was a hit when it landed in theaters this summer. With Patty Jenkins locked in to return and direct the sequel a few months ago, it’s now been revealed that Warner Bros. has pushed the release date up six weeks.
Originally scheduled to make its way to cinemas in December of 2019, Wonder Woman 2 will now grace the silver screen on November 1, 2019.
The shift in dates comes just after Disney and LucasFilm changed the release date for Star Wars: Episode IX to December 20, 2019. The latest instalment of the Star Wars franchise was initially slated to arrive in theaters in May 2019 when Colin Trevorrow was attached to direct.

Wonder Woman broke several records after it was released in June, including most recently becoming the highest-grossing superhero origin film, surpassing Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man film.
Wonder Woman 2 will see Gal Gadot reprise her role as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, but according to recent reports, the actress will not return if Brett Ratner and his production company, RatPac-Dune, are involved with the film in any way due to sexual misconduct complaints that have been lodged against him.
