Stan Lee is Hopeful for a Black Widow Movie
A long time ago, back when the MCU was being shaped, fans all over the world were hopeful for a Black Widow movie, as she was one of the few female characters the Cinematic Universe had to offer.
As years went by, that hope wore off and people began to dream of ever see such a movie: however, it looks like there’s someone who’s still hopeful for it to happen.
We’re talking about Stan Lee, who said at this past Supanova Comic-Con in Brisbane, Australia that “someday, there’ll be a Black Widow movie” when asked about the possibility.
This is not the first time Stan Lee has teased a Black Widow solo film as back in 2014 -when he confirmed a Black Panther film was in the works- when asked about Widow’s role in the MCU, he said:
“Chances are she will have her own movie because eventually, all the superheroes are going to have their own movies.”
Even though he sounds hopeful, there’s no confirmation from Marvel nor do they have any event press related soon. Maybe it will happen, maybe it won’t, maybe another female superhero will get her solo film -aside from Captain Marvel-. We¡ll just have to wait and see.
