Monday morning was when Wentworth Miller revealed through his Instagram Account that he’s leaving the Arrow-verse… or the shows of the Arrowverse which he’s part of, like The Flash or Legends of Tomorrow.

“Currently shooting some of my final episodes as ‘Captain Cold/Leonard Snart’ on the CW’s Legends of Tomorrow and The Flash…. Grateful — now and in advance — to a pair of talented casts and hardworking crews…Thank you… I’ve had a tremendous time playing this character… It’s been an opportunity, an education, and a f–king blast…”

The first time we were introduced to Miller’s Captain Cold was back on The Flash’s premiere in the episode Going Rogue. Then, he -along with his Prison Break costar Dominic Purcell, who in the Arrowverse plays Mick Rory, a.k.a. Heat Wave- became a recurring role on The Flash, to later transition to DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

Although sadly, Snart was killed off in the season one finale of Legends’, Miller became a series regular across all of the Arrow-verse shows, with a recurring role on Legends season two and guest-starring on The Flash. And, as this year’s four-way crossover “Crisis on Earth-X” confirmed that Miller would appear in that, too, Miller’s last appearance might not be featured until 2018.
