‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D’ Season 5 Gets New Characters
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D season 5 premiere is getting near us, and with it, announcements are a pretty common thing. So far, we know that the series will premiere on December but the characters we know will not be arriving alone.
According to Entertainment Weekly, four new actors will be joining the show in its fifth season, and, with the announcement, we also got a piece of information about who they are and what role they have in this upcoming season.
The first is Grill (played by Pruitt Taylor Vince –The Devil’s Candy-) a gruff taskmaster, with an unforgiving temperament, lording over those under his command. He has no illusions about the world he lives in or the people around him.
Then, we have Flint (Coy Stewart -Are We There Yet-) a young man who was forced to grow up fast, as he was raised in a tough environment. When his path crosses with the S.H.I.E.L.D. team, he gets the chance to prove what he’s capable of, as he still has a desire to make something of himself.
There’s also Tess (Eve Harlow -Juno-) a resourceful, striving to be a self-sufficient woman who founds herself in very desperate circumstances. She’s described to be the living proof that even in the toughest of times, good people will still fight for each other.
And finally, we have Deke (Jeff Ward) describe to be the ultimate survivor and roguish scavenger, a guy known to be someone who can get people what they need, but at a price of his asking. He’s a hard guy to trust but a great asset as well, as he’s presented with both a sharp mind and quick wit.
