Reportedly, ‘Captain Marvel’ Begins Production in February 2018
So it seems like Captain Marvel will take on the Skrulls earlier than we thought.
According to My Entertainment World (via Omega Underground), Marvel Studio has decided to start production for Captain Marvel in Los Angeles, California this next February.

Based on Omega Underground sources, Captain Marvel was originally going to film in Atlanta, like so many previous Marvel Studios films have, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 being the most recent ones. However, thanks to new California tax incentives the location has been moved.
So far, we know that Captain Marvel will take place in the 90’s, that Samuel L. Jackson will have a supporting role as Nick Fury and that it will serve as the introduction of the Skrulls -the shapeshifting Skrull alien race- into the MCU.
Kavin Feige has already teased her first appearance in the MCU -for us, not in chronological order- in the upcoming Avengers 4, who’s still untitled.
What do you think about this news? What do you want to see in a Captain Marvel film?
