FOX is Set to Develop a ‘Snow Blind’ TV Adaptation

Snow Blind is getting a TV hourlong adaptation, thanks to 20th Century Fox and its alliance with Boom! Studios, the publisher of Snow Blind.

For those who don’t know what we’re talking about, Snow Blind is a graphic novel -created by Ollie Masters and Tyler Jenkins- that tells the story of Sheriff Billy Bowden after having his secrets and past revealed to all when a story about him goes viral. With his secrets and past exposed, the town learns that not only did he had a criminal past but also that he and his family are part of the Witness Protection Program. Now, they’ll have to protect themselves from those who want to hurt them, from the FBI to those who were put behind bars thanks to Billy.

Fox appears to really have this done, as the studio bought the rights to adapt this story with a policy of “script penalty”, meaning that, if a pilot isn’t produced from the script that’s written, Fox will have to pay Boom! Studios and Masters and Jenkins -probably- a considerable sum of money.

Vaun Wilmott, known for his work as executive producer on Prison Break and showrunner for Dominion, will be the man in charge to the script.
