Daredevil S3 Gets a New Showrunner
Daredevil season 3 will bring back characters we’ve missed and a storyline that promises great things, but that’s not everything that’s going to change with season 3.
According to Deadline, Erik Oleson will be taking over as showrunner for this new season. But although Oleson’s most recent work was as executive producer on Amazon’s The Man in the High Castle, he’s no stranger to the superhero genre after being the co-executive producer of CW’s Arrow.
EP and Marvel TV chief Jeph Loeb told Deadline that they’re excited for what’s with Oleson.
“We’re very excited how Marvel’s Daredevil develops through the creative lens and guidance of our new showrunner, Erik Oleson.”
Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez were showrunners for Season 2 of Daredevil, with both of them handling later on being showrunners for The Defenders. However, Petrie exited production early on, while Ramirez saw the team-up come to life on August 17.
What do you think about this news? Are you excited for Daredevil season 3?

Neither Marvel nor Netflix have announced a premiere date for Daredevil‘s Season 3… or for Jessica Jones and Luke Cage’s second seasons for that matter.
