Nubia Returns as Wonder Woman in Issue 29 of ‘Injustice 2’
Nubia is back and helming the title of Wonder Woman once again. Revealed in the digital Injustice 2 comic in issue #29 (or issue #15 in the print version) the Themysciran is saving the world, now that her corrupted sister is imprisoned back on Paradise Island.
For those of you who don’t know, Nubia is, she is the twin sister to Diana, Princess of Themyscira. She made her comic book debut in Wonder Woman (vol. 1) #204. In her original origin story, Nubia was also sculpted from clay by Hippolyta and brought to life by the Gods. However, she was abducted by the God of War and is raised by him as a weapon to use against the Amazons.

Of course, from this image, it seems that the comic ends on a cliffhanger that shows Nubia gracefully entering the scene – hopefully to save the day.
At SDCC last year, it was announced that a digital Injustice 2 comic book, based on the backstory from the NetherRealm Studios game of the same name, was to be released. The digital editions of the book were released beginning in early April of this year, while print versions were made available in May combining multiple digital chapters per book.
