Ben Mendelsohn In Talks For Villain Role In ‘Captain Marvel’ Film
Although we aren’t getting the highly anticipated Captain Marvel flick until 2019, we have some new information on the potential villain.
According to a report by Variety, directing duo Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck are in talks with the star of their film, Mississippi Grind, Ben Mendelsohn to join the cast of the MCU’s first female superhero-led movie.
If Mendelsohn takes on the role, he will portray the film’s main antagonist, perhaps the leader of the Skrulls – an element that has been heavily rumored and teased since the announcement of Captain Marvel.
Mendelsohn is no stranger to playing the villain. Most recently, Mendelsohn was seen as Director Krennic in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
