We have our Beast Boy, ladies and gentlemen, for the upcoming live-action series Titans‘ that will tell the story of one of the most beloved teams DC has: the Teen Titans.

The man in charge to play our beloved Gar Logan -a.k.a Beast Boy- is none other than Ryan Potter, who you may know as the voice of Hiro Hamada in Big Hero 6.

The news was revealed earlier today through Potter’s Twitter with only emojis as clues, later confirmed by Deadline.

Potter joins as the lead of the show, alongside Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop and Teagan Croft with Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly in recurring roles.

For those who don’t know, Gar contracted the lethal disease during his childhood, and as a result from his treatment with an experimental drug, his skin and hair turned permanently green and he became able to reshape himself into any animal of any size he can imagine.

Titans tell the story of a young Dick Grayson that, after leaving Batman to find his own path, becomes the leader of a band of new heroes that includes Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and more.and others.

What do you think about this news? Are you excited for this upcoming show?
