Reid Scott Is in Talks to Join The Cast of ‘Venom’
At this time, we seem bound to go see Venom, with actors like Tom Hardy on board and Riz Ahmed, Michelle Williams and Jenny Slate in talks, and Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) as director, but today, a new member is in talks to join this multitalented cast.
I’m talking about Reid Scott, mostly known for his character Dan Egan in the series Veep, as Variety has reported earlier today. However, Sony has made no comments on this casting news just yet.
Venom‘s script is being handled by the minds of Scott Rosenberg (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle), Jeff Pinkner (The Dark Tower), and Kelly Marcel (Fifty Shades of Grey), with Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach and Amy Pascal producing the movie.
It has been confirmed time after time that this feature film of one of the most iconic Spider-Man villains will not be part of the MCU nor include our friendly neighbour on screen, however fan theories put Riz Ahmed as an older Peter Parker who will fight Eddie Brock -Tom Hardy- when he’s infected by the alien symbiote known as Venom.
