Reportedly, Barry Will Still Be in College in ‘Justice League’
It seems like not only will Barry fight Parademons in Justice League, as he’ll also have to handle midterms, due dates and finals as well.
According to Comic Book, whose source was a user from Reddit who attended a Justice League event in the Philippines, there was information that confirmed that Barry Allen is enrolled in college at the time that the League unites.
In here is a photo that describes Barry’s personality, which begins:
“Barry Allen is an excessively energetic student attending Central City College, where he studies criminal science…”
The middle section of the text is difficult to read because of the angle the photo was taken, but it might tell us that Barry is studying criminal science for one day being able to exonerate his father. Then, the text goes on to say that he teams up with the “crime fighting” Batman.
The text concludes, “Barry’s remarkably quick wit is surpassed only by his ability to move at hyper-speed.”
This will make the DCEU’s Barry Allen younger than his television counterpart, who is also younger than Flash in the comics.
Ezra Miller, our Flash in Justice League, seems as enthusiastic about joining the team as the character he plays, as when asked what’s like to be in The Batmobile, he used pretty colourful words to describe the experience:
“You know what it feels like sitting in the Batmobile?. It’s like an orgasm. It just ripples through your whole body. Oh my God.”
We already know, from early reports, that Flash will most likely be a fan favourite, but with this report… will he be more relatable for those of us who are in college as well?
