Victor Garber Leaving ‘Legends of Tomorrow’
The Waverider will be down one team member when Victor Garber leaves DC’s Legends of Tomorrow later this season.
Garber’s Dr. Martin Stein made his first appearance in the Arrowverse during season one of The Flash, when he was introduced as the other half of Firestorm with Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell).
After Ronnie died, Stein needed a new partner to bond with and Team Flash found Jax (Franz Drameh). The two then joined the time-traveling crew of the Waverider on Legends of Tomorrow.

Broadway vet Garber is heading back to the stage in January to join Bernadette Peters in Hello, Dolly! as Horace Vandergelder.
In the season three premiere, it was revealed that Stein’s daughter Lily is pregnant and he really wants to be there for the birth of his grandchild. His family commitments made him reluctant to rejoin the Legends in fixing time. Ultimately, he chose to stay for Jax, so perhaps the writers were setting the groundwork for Garber’s exit.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow airs Tuesdays at 9 pm on The CW.
