Tessa Thompson is Interested in an All-Female MCU Team Up Movie

Despite controversies about the storylines of some of its female characters, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has a deep roster of heroines.

One of its newest actresses, Tessa Thompson, wants to see all these women come together for a team up movie. In fact she got some of her fellow heroines to approach Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige about the idea.

At the Thor: Ragnarok press junket, Feige relayed how intimidating it was to get “tapped on the shoulder and turn around to find a gang of the MCU’s female powerhouses, all standing and waiting to hear what you have to say.”

Thompson, who plays Valkyrie in Ragnarok, suggested the Lady Liberators as a possibility. The Lady Liberators were a group in the 70s that Enchantress, disguised as Valkyrie, brought together. The lineup consisted of Wasp, Scarlet Witch and Black Widow. Coincidentally, all characters in the MCU.

Thompson can be seen as Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarok, which hits theaters Nov. 3.

How excited are you about an all-female MCU movie?
