O’Shea Jackson Jr. to Join Seth Rogen’s ‘Flarsky’
Talks of negotiations have arisen regarding O’Shea Jackson Jr. joining Lionsgate’s newest project, Flarsky. Jackson would be joining the previously announced Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron. Lionsgate has yet to comment on the casting.
Flarsky, directed by Jonathan Levine and written by Dan Sterling; will follow an unemployed journalist, Fred Flarsky, (Rogen) who seeks out his former babysitter and childhood crush (Theron), who is now one of the most unattainable women on Earth. Jackson’s character is still unknown.
The film is currently in pre-production. Rogen’s Point Grey Pictures, Theron’s Denver and Delilah Films, and Good Universe are among the production companies associated with the project.
Jackson has gained recent praise for his role in Ingrid Goes West, and can be seen in his next action-packed role in Den of Thieves and Godzilla King of the Monsters. Jackson is repped by WME and Cube Vision.
Flarsky is dated for release on February 8, 2019.
