‘Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie’ Premieres Next Month
Just in time for Thanksgiving, fans of the hit 90’s Nickelodeon show Hey Arnold! will be treated to its new followup film, Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie. The film premieres on Friday, November 24 at 7 PM on Nick, TeenNick, and Nicktoons, and picks up right where the story left off in 2004. For New York Comic Con, Nick released a new trailer to show a little more of what to expect from the series’ successor.

The story centers on Arnold and his friends embarking on a field trip to achieve Arnold’s dream of finding his long lost parents.
The film was co-written and executive produced by the series’ original creator Craig Bartlett, and includes voice talents from the original cast members, including Francesca Marie Smith as Helga, Anndi McAfee as Phoebe, Dan Castellaneta as Grandpa, and more. The lead roles of Arnold and Gerald will be played by new voice talents, Mason Vale Cotton (Mad Men) and Benjamin “Lil’ P-Nut” Flores, Jr. (Game Shakers). At NYCC, both the cast and crew expressed hope that with the new film, there would be opportunities to tell more Hey Arnold! stories through a new season of the show.
The excitement for Hey Arnold! returned after Nick and TeenNick’s 90’s programming block, NickSplat, featured some of viewers’ favorite shows, including Doug, The Rugrats, and Rocko’s Modern Life (which is getting its own special soon!).
Invader Zim is also joining Hey Arnold! and Rocko’s Modern Life in getting the reimagined nostalgia treatment.
To celebrate the film, NickSplat will be airing a marathon of every Hey Arnold! episode from Friday, November 17 to Friday, November 24.
