Marvel Reveals Exclusive Posters for Upcoming Fall Shows #NYCC2017
Fellow geeks rejoice, for one of the biggest fan events on the East Coast is almost here – New York Comic Con.
As always, this year promises to bring an exciting mix of special guest appearances and breaking pop culture news. And while indie and small press publishers certainly have a spot at NYCC, any con veteran knows that Marvel and DC will dominate the show floor with their numerous exhibitions, panels, and exclusive movie and TV show screenings.
Marvel in particular has several upcoming TV shows it will be heavily promoting this year, from The Gifted to The Punisher. But since these shows will be premiering soon, and thus arguably have had a sizable amount of marketing behind them in the last several weeks, Marvel seems to want to now drum up excitement for its other 2017-2018 premieres.
Specifically, Marvel has revealed NYCC exclusive posters for the new seasons of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Jessica Jones, both of which should be returning to the small screen sometime early next year.
Meanwhile, new posters have also been created for The Runaways and Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger adaptation. While Cloak & Dagger’s premiere date is still somewhat in flux, especially after its filming was delayed over the summer, The Runaways is more of a sure thing with its highly anticipated premiere set for November 21, 2017.
NYCC attendees will have a chance to snag this awesome swag at the Marvel Signing Booth, #1354 on the show floor. As a gentle reminder, these big-name booths don’t allow casual access. Since signings are considered ticketed events, you’ll need to get timed passes via Marvel’s signing lottery as soon as you arrive to the Javits Center this Saturday and Sunday. Considering how hectic the online pre-lotteries were this time around, well… good luck and god speed, True Believers.
We still have a few more days of the work week to slum through before the con, so stick with Geeks of Color as we update you on con exclusive and bring you all the best breaking news this weekend!
