Tom Welling is Willing To Appear on ‘The Flash’ and Has a Few Ideas on How To
Although Smallville ended six years ago, for some people Tom Welling will forever be our Superman, as the actor played Clark Kent for 10 years, from 2001 to 2011, in his journey to become the Man of Steel we know and love.

In a recent interview with Nuke The Fridge about Fox’s Fall TV lineup, as Welling will be appearing in Lucifer‘s next season, he said he was open to appear in The Flash, as the show has opened the possibility with its Multiverse scenario. In fact, what he actually said is:
“I am willing to go on The Flash and I have a few ideas on how it can happen if the network asks me. In fact, I think I can make it happen.”
The CW, and specially the Arrowverse, are not adverse to cast actors with ties to former superhero shows and movies, as proven by Mark Hamill’s reprise of his Trickster on The Flash, or Erica Durance’s (Smallville) appearance as Kara’s mom in Supergirl‘s upcoming season.
Welling’s Superman is not a far fetched idea, but let’s just wait and see what The CW decides.
