Michelle Williams Is In Talks To Join The Cast of ‘Venom’
For a while now, we’ve known there’s going to be a Venom movie starring Tom Hardy and directed by Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland), with Riz Ahmed in an “unnamed but famous character”. And with production starting late October, this news come as an interesting piece of information.
According to Variety, Michelle Williams is in talks to star Venom alongside Hardy, playing a “district attorney who’s possibly Hardy’s love interest” in the film. However, no official comment by Sony has been made.
According to reporter Justin Kroll, other actresses that have been approached by the studio are actress Slyvia Hoeks (Blade Runner), Kylie Bunbury (Pitch) and Kate Mara.

Both Sony and Marvel have confirmed time after time that, while they made a deal to allow Spidey to be part of the MCU, Venom won’t be part of a shared universe, being an independent solo film.
Scott Rosenberg (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) and Jeff Pinkner (The Dark Tower) will write the script.
