If you hadn’t had the chance of seeing the wonderful and amazing movie that Your Name is, I highly recommend you do it, as it is a heartfelt story about love and fate.

However, as it is one of the biggest hits of all time in Japan, it seems like Hollywood wants to adapt it, as it has been reported by The Hollywood Reporter that Paramount Pictures and J.J. Abrams have teamed up to make a live-action take on it.

Your Name tells the story of Taki and Mitsuha, a boy from the city and a girl from a small twon, that one day discover they have the ability to change bodies, unintentionally.

Eric Heisserer, better known for having write -and being nominated- the script of Arrival, will write the screenplay for the adaptation.

On its part, Abrams will produce via his Bad Robot Productions, alongside Lindsey Weber and Genki Kawamura, producer of the original film.
