Oliva Munn has been the troll queen lately when it comes to her involvement in X-Men: Dark Phoenix and plot details. While promoting her role in The LEGO Ninjago Movie, Munn took the time to give some interesting news on Dark Phoenix. Check out what she said below!
“I don’t know what I’m supposed to say. I’m supposed to be vague. That’s my answer. I’m horrible at that. It’s like a two parter, this movie. That’s more than I’ve said, in general. I don’t know why people have to be so secretive.”
When asked what she thought of Simon Kinberg’s directorial debut, Munn said:
“I love Simon Kinberg. He’s such a visionary…I think Simon is gonna kill it. He’s gonna do such a fantastic job with it.”
Very interesting news indeed, especially considering Kinberg’s recent comments about making Dark Phoenix “more grounded”. I can’t lie, as crazy as Fox has been with the X-Men movies, this gives me hope! It may be the young and always hopeful X-Men stan in me, but two parts has me thinking that they’re taking the movie a bit more seriously and the film won’t suffer from poor pacing like X-Men: Apocalypse (which should have also been two parts). What do you guys think? Is this a good sign or nah? Let us know!
X-Men: Dark Phoenix hits theaters November 2, 2018!
