With Fallout 4’s final DLC released and no news of Fallout developments for Bethesda, some fans are antsy for new content. Obsidian Entertainment, the developer of Fallout: New Vegas, is among those excited to explore post-apocalyptic stories. In an interview with IGN, Josh Sawyer, the director of New Vegas, said that the studio would love to work on a new Fallout game.
According to Sawyer, Obsidian gets asked about making another Fallout game a lot; more than any other title they develop!
Although New Vegas was well-received (and is still one of the most popular games in the series), it’s hard to say if Bethesda will stray from developing in-house again, especially after the success of Fallout 4. For now, it looks like the best that we can expect out of the Fallout universe is the new virtual reality port for Fallout 4.
Would you like to see another Fallout game in the same veins as New Vegas? Are there any other titles you want to see Bethesda working on? Let us know in the comments!
