Green Arrow Gets New Suit, Trick Arrows in Season Six
In his first five years, Arrow’s Oliver Queen has steadily received upgrades to his Green Arrow suit (usually courtesy STAR Labs’ Cisco).
Season six will be no different, as star Stephen Amell hinted at Heroes & Villains Fan Fest New Jersey.
“You will see a new Arrow suit this year,” he said.
According to TV Line, the actor also teased “a new trick arrow that Oliver gets to use in the four-way DCTV crossover event, which just began production.”
Amell then discussed Oliver’s happier state of mind in the upcoming episodes.
“It’s a strange thing. Oliver actually this season is a very contented individual … At least so far,” he said. “Methinks that will probably change, based on just 120 some episodes of history. But I’ve seen three episodes and he’s smiling a lot more … It’s nice as an actor to not be a stick in the mud all the time … In the early part of the season we undertake a storyline and we stick to it”

This seems to imply that Oliver will bounce back from the cliffhanger explosion on Lian Yu.
Though most season six spoilers seem to point to the main team surviving, fans have spent the summer guessing who actually dies. Many are speculating that William’s mother Samantha will be the major casualty, leaving Oliver as a single father.
Fatherhood, along with a possible reunion with Felicity, could lead to a happier Green Arrow.
Season six of Arrow premieres on a new night and time Thursday, Oct. 12 at 9 pm.
