‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Adds Hiroyuki Sanada to Its Cast

Not only Westworld will welcome Hiroyuki Sanada to it’s files, but The MCU as well.

According to Deadline, Sanada will have a supporting role in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity and that he’s supposed to shoot his scenes in the near future, but no details were given about the nature of his character or the length of it.

The article itself was about Sanada’s addition to Westworld season 2  in a major recurring role as Musashi, whose true nature remain under wraps.

This is not the first time Sanada enters the superhero realm, as he previously appeared as Shingen in The Wolverine, but that’s not the only role his curriculum has, as it includes   RinguRingu 2Sunshine, Life, Lost and Revenge.

Given what we already know about Infinity War, and it’s untitled sequel, many people have theorized that Sanada could be playing a member of the Yakuza, as  Avengers 4 began filming last month, and a Tokyo, Japan setting is expected to have a heavy influence on the film. But maybe he’s playing an ally for the Avengers, we’ll just have to wait and see.

What do you think about this news? Are you excited about Sanada’s addition to the MCU?
