Universal Pictures will release the Blumhouse production, executive produced by Halloween’s very own John Carpenter. The original film’s director has said he may compose the score, but he’s yet to officially confirm his status in that particular role. David Gordon Green is writing the script, alongside Danny McBride.

Jamie Lee Curtis’ return raises a myriad of questions, considering Laurie’s fate in Resurrection. However, as Bloody Disgusting suggests, the new film may be a continuation of the first two Halloween films, disregarding everything past the 1981 sequel.

How do you think Laurie Strode and Michael Myers’ story will be explored this time around? Share your thoughts and theories in the comments below.
