‘Wonder Woman 2’ Adds ‘Expendables’ Writer Dave Callaham

Fresh off the news that director, Patty Jenkins closed the deal to direct the upcoming Wonder Woman sequel, there’s been a new addition to the writing room.

Announced on Wednesday, writer, Dave Callaham will be joining forces with Jenkins and Geoff Johns to write the script for Wonder Woman 2.

It was previously announced that both Johns and Jenkins had already started writing the treatment for the sequel, so it will be interesting to see just where Callaham fits into the process.

Callaham is best known for his writing credits for action flicks including Doom, The Expendables, The Expendables 2 and Godzilla. Callaham is an interesting choice for Wonder Woman 2, so we will have to wait and see if this venture pays off.

The synopsis for Diana Prince’s next journey has yet to be revealed, however Jenkins stated that she’d like to bring the superhero to the United States of America and with rumors pointing to the sequel taking place during the Cold War, perhaps we will see Miss Prince in America this time around.

Wonder Woman comes out on DVD/Blu-Ray on September 19th, 2017!
