Freeform Will Preview ‘Cloak & Dagger’ in NYCC Activation Zone
New York Comic Con is just around the corner, so networks are releasing more information about panels and events.
Freeform is set to preview upcoming Marvel TV series Cloak and Dagger at its activation zone. The interactive fan area will be held at the corner of 11th and 37th and run from October 5-8.
These offsite interactive zones were very popular during San Diego Comic Con with long lines a common sight. The areas provide fans a chance to preview their favorite shows and movies, while also getting to be a part of the action.
Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger is a coming-of-age series based on the beloved comic characters. Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph), come from starkly different backgrounds, each growing up with a secret they never dared share with another soul.
Marvel TV has a full court press planned for NYCC, featuring panels for The Punisher, Runaways and Agents of SHIELD.
Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger stars Olivia Holt as Tandy Bowen/Dagger, Aubrey Joseph as Tyrone Johnson/Cloak, Andrea Roth as Melissa Bowen, Gloria Reuben as Adina Johnson, Miles Mussenden as Michael Johnson, Carl Lundstedt as Liam, James Saito as Dr. Bernard Sanjo and J.D. Evermore as Detective Connors. The series is scheduled to premiere on Freeform in 2018.
