‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ Gets A December Release Date
Fresh off the news that J.J. Abrams will write and direct Star Wars: Episode IX, the film’s official release date has been announced.
The final movie in the new trilogy will force its way into theaters December 20, 2019, which makes it the best Christmas present ever.
Episode IX will wrap up the story that began in The Force Awakens and focused on Rey, Finn and Poe helping the Resistance fight the First Order.

The Force Awakens relaunched the franchise with the return of Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher. The movie’s $2 billion box office showed that audiences are still obsessed with Star Wars.
The next film in the series, The Last Jedi, will show Rey training with Luke, and Finn adjusting to his place in the Resistance. It will also deal with the complications of the First Order destroying the Republic.
So the question is what are your way too early Episode IX predictions for Rey, Finn and the rest of the Resistance?
Are you in line yet for Episode IX?
