Tom Holland Is The Youngest Leading Actor in a MCU Movie
Back in June 2013, it was announced that a young actor named Tom Holland was cast as the iconic Peter Parker/Spider-Man in his teenage years, an event that “flipped his life upside down”, as he tweeted this year.
Two years ago today I was cast as Spider-man and my life was flipped upside down. What a ride it's been and what amazing fans I have ❤

Holland’s first appearance as Peter/Spidey was in Captain America: Civil War aiding Tony fight against Cap in the airport scene.
At that time (2015), before Civil War premiered, not everyone knew who Tom Holland was, despite having appeared in movies like The Impossible or In the Heart of the Sea, in which he shared credits with fellow Marvel actor Chris Hemsworth.
However, it was thanks to his solo movie Spider-Man: Homecoming that he became a household name and starting to appear more and more on people’s minds, as Homecoming is also the highest grossing film reboot in history.
But that’s not the only thing Homecoming broke, as according to About Tom Holland, Tom is in the 2018 Guinness Book of World Records for being the youngest leading actor in the MCU.
