Stan Lee was present at Hasbro’s first ever HASCON convention and a member of audience decided to ask him if he’d given any thought to who he’d want to portray him in a movie. It turns out Stan Lee has given this some thought as he revealed he’d talked to Leonardo DiCaprio about the possibility. Here’s what he said:

“Believe it or not, I’ve already discussed it with Leonardo DiCaprio, he’s a neighbor of mine and we were talking one day some months ago, and he said, ‘Boy it’d be fun to do your story on the screen.’” So I said, ‘Well, I’ll audition you.’ Gotta make sure the guy can do it.”

Stan Lee continued on to say that Leonardo DiCaprio is a “hell of a nice guy” who is a big fan of Marvel Comics, “he has all the walls covered with big Marvel posters and everything, he’s got very good taste.”

With Leonardo DiCaprio being a big fan of the comicbook medium, the possibility of seeing him play any significant comicbook role is surely an exciting prospect for the fans.
