Joseph Gordon-Levitt to Cameo in ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’
Rian Johnson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt have a long-standing working relationship and friendship. The actor starred in Johnson’s Looper and Brick, and appeared uncredited in The Brothers Bloom.
The streak will continue with Star Wars: The Last Jedi, where CBR is reporting Levitt will voice an unnamed alien.
Fans shouldn’t get too excited since Levitt would likely have a small, unrecognizable role similar to Simon Pegg as Unkar Plutt in The Force Awakens.

Levitt is no stranger to sci-fi/fantasy fans with his roles in Inception and The Dark Knight Rises.
The Last Jedi continues the story of the Rebellion’s fight against the First Order and features Rey finally training with Luke Skywalker.
Directed by Johnson and starring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern, Anthony Daniels, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher, Star Wars: The Last Jedi jumps into theaters Dec. 15.
