Yesterday, Ron Howard revealed that Paul Bettany has joined the cast of the yet to be titled Star Wars Han Solo spinoff film, seen on the director’s tweet below:

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Bettany joining the Han Solo cast “comes two weeks after the production lost Michael K. Williams, as his schedule could not accommodate the extensive reshoots Howard has been overseeing.”

Howard’s announcement comes of mixed reviews, as conflicting sources have yet to determine if Paul Bettany’s role is wholly original or if he’s working as a replacement for Michael K. Williams, whose role was removed from the movie after reshoots.
