First Look at Misty Knight’s Bionic Arm in ‘Luke Cage’ Season Two

Warning The Defenders spoilers ahead!

It’s no secret to comic book fans that Luke Cage’s Misty Knight was going to lose her arm at some point. However, there were questions of how and when.

Those answers came in the eighth episode of The Defenders when Misty had her arm cut off by Bakuto as she tried to help Claire and Colleen.

Misty awoke later in a fancy hospital where Colleen informed her that Danny owned the place and that she would be fixed up.

It appears Danny kept his word, as the first photo of Misty sporting her new bionic arm in the second season of Luke Cage has been released.

It doesn’t look very high-tech. It actually looks more functional, like a high quality prosthetic. Of course in the Marvel world looks can be deceiving and Misty’s arm may be more powerful than it seems.

It’s not known whether she continues to be a cop, but she’s obviously still connected to Luke and it looks like they’re working together.

Season two of Marvel’s Luke Cage premieres on Netflix in 2018 and features Mustafa Shakir and Gabrielle Dennis joining stars Mike Colter, Simone Missick, Alfre Woodard, Theo Rossi and Rosario Dawson.

Marvel’s The Defenders is currently streaming on Netflix.
