For the first time in 12 years Star Trek will be making its return to television. Star Trek: Discovery will begin at the end of the September on CBS: All-Access.
The series which will be set about 10 years before the the original Star Trek series and will explore what ensued beween the Klingons and the Federation to start a war.
The latest promo for Star Trek: Discovery focuses on the Klingons with leader T’Kuvma (Chris Obi) bringing together the different Klingon houses. Check out the new video below:
The promo also reveals what the new show is likely to be rated. According to an interview with Entertainment Weekly back in July, show runner Aaron Harberts originally described the show as being a “hard PG-13”, however based on the promo above, the series will be rated TV-MA.
TV-MA typically means that the series has some elements that would be unsuitable for viewers under the age of 17. Shows with this rating typically have one or more of the following: violence, language and sexual content.
