EA Announces ‘The Sims 4 Cats and Dogs’
After a long run of game packs, stuff packs, and expansion packs, EA just announced today that The Sims 4 will be getting its very own pet expansion – The Sims 4 Cats and Dogs. The expansion pack comes out November 10, and debuts a number of new features that haven’t been present yet in a Sims game.

For the first time, Sims can dress up their pets, or even give them colorful fur makeovers. The expansion also adds a new career and veterinary clinic, where vets can take care of sick and hurting pets.
There’s also a new location, Brindleton Bay, designed to socialize pets and find new strays to adopt. Unlike the last Pet expansion, this one seems to take out horses, rodents, and reptiles.
The Sims usually saves the Pets expansion to be one of the last in their lineups, so this might be some of the last content we see for The Sims 4. So far, The Sims 4 hasn’t incorporated mythical creatures or university life, and we’ve only just gotten new mechanics for toddlers and children.
Is there any other content you’d like to see come to The Sims before they retire the packs, or are you satisfied with finally getting pets? Let us know in the comments!
