This year’s supernatural/thriller/horror movie Split definitely took the audience by surprise in the most amazing way! M. Night Shyamalan went back to what he does best with the exciting twists and turns and gut-wrenching thrills in this film. Add the brilliant performance of James McAvoy (seriously, give this man an Oscar) and you have Shyamalan’s comeback movie of the year in Split.

One of the biggest twists is the ending when you see Bruce Willis’s character, Dunn from Shyamalan’s Unbreakable at the end linking Split to Unbreakable; this made Split a spin-off/origin film for McAvoy’s character and also a direct sequel to 2000’s Unbreakable that Shyamalan promised his fans long ago. Now, we have an official synopsis for the upcoming sequel titled Glass.

The movie will star James McAvoy, Bruce Willis along with Samuel Jackson reprising his role as Elijah Price aka Mr. Glass. Sarah Paulson has been cast in the film as well as Anya Taylor-Joy returning to reprise her role as the sole survivor from Split, Casey.

Check out the synopsis of the movie below!

Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.

What do you guys think? Sounds exciting if you ask me! Glass hits theaters January 18, 2019!
