While Netflix is preparing for the premiere of Marvel’s The Defenders this Friday, the streaming service announced yesterday that the third season of Daredevil will begin this October, joining the production of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.

Comicbook.com reports that with the exception of Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson, there has been “no word yet on which cast members will be back or any new additions to the fold.”

The third season of Daredevil “will pick up after the events of The Defenders and Matt Murdock’s confrontation with the resurrected Elektra. The actors involved in the series have all stated that their characters will be drastically changed by the events of the crossover, so we expect Daredevil to continue following the same threads.”
