Kirk Acevedo Joins ‘Arrow’ as Richard Dragon
Back in June, at San Diego Comic Con, during the Arrow panel, Marc Guggenheim (executive producer of the show) teased the appearance of Richard Dragon, a famous Green Arrow villain in the comic.
Now, almost two months later, it was confirmed that Dragon will in fact appear in the upcoming season of Arrow and will be played by Kirk Acevedo.

Acevedo will interpret Ricardo Diaz, one of the identities Richard Dragon takes on, an ex-con who was recently released from prison, convicted for crimes he didn’t commit. Diaz, fresh from prison, has decided to take over Star City’s criminal underworld.
Acevedo is most known for his roles on Kingdom, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Fringe, and he will be joining Michael Emerson and David Nykl as the new cast members.
