‘Big Hero 6’ Animated Series Debuts in November

In an era of heavily hyped and marketed animated films, 2014’s Big Hero 6 was a bit of a surprise hit for Disney.

The movie is still very popular with its youngest fans. At Disney Parks, kids are always very excited to see Baymax.

Now Disney is building on that popularity with a Big Hero 6 TV show on Disney XD.

A short, new teaser reveals that the series will premiere in November. It has already been renewed for a second season.

The film was based on the Marvel comic and followed Hiro, his robot Baymax and their friends as they use their technical genius and Baymax’s abilities to figure out who killed Hiro’s brother.

The series picks up after the movie and presumably features Hiro and his friends continued work helping the citizens of San Fransokyo.

Most of the original voice cast returns including Ryan Potter, Scott Adsit, Jamie Chung, Genesis Rodriguez, Alan Tudyk and Stan Lee. They are joined by Khary Payton and Brooks Wheelan.

Big Hero 6 is set to debut on Disney XD in November.
