As the release date grows closer for Thor: Ragnarok, we are getting more details about the film’s characters and stories.
The latest image revealed from the movie shows Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) locked in the midst of an intense duel.
Of course we don’t know the story behind their fight, but it’s probably Loki’s fault, since these things usually are.
After Hela (Cate Blanchett) takes over Asgard from a careless Loki (disguised as Odin), Thor is kidnapped and taken to the fighting pits of Sakaar, where he’s reunited with his “friend from work” The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).
Based on the trailers, director Taika Waititi has breathed a lot of laughs into Thor’s third outing, making full use of Chris Hemsworth’s comedic chops.
The new feel has fans excited for a Thor movie in a way they previously haven’t been.
Opening Nov. 3, Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban and Anthony Hopkins.
Hemsworth, Ruffalo and Thompson will then team up with the rest of the heroes in Avengers: Infinity War, out May 4, 2018.
What do you think the story is behind Loki and Valkyrie’s fight?
